For the past couple of days I’ve been in pain, especially from early evening into the night. It’s not the same pain as before the surgery but it’s still awful. At the moment the pain in my ‘new’ shoulder is like a knife twisting, and the whole arm aches and I’ve pain in my right wrist. My left shoulder hurts as though I’ve bumped it and the muscle in the top of my left arm is painful – probably due to it doing all the work.

Needless to say I’m not optimistic about getting any sleep again tonight, hopefully the morphine will kick in soon and I’ll get a few hours before I’m up in front of the telly again 😢
