Hi everyone just a quick update to say that I’m now preparing myself to go through the whole experience again with my right shoulder. Although I’m always going to worry about having to cope with just the already repaired arm; it’s now getting to the point where the right arm is so painful I’m unable to use it much anyway. We have been on holiday for a week and the heat appears to have made the stiffness worse. I’m unable to brush my hair or use cutlery and my computer mouse has now been moved to my left side.

I saw the consultant this week and have my pre assessment appointment booked for 21st July although I’m hoping that I can have the surgery this month if the specialist team are available. Because I have once again opted to be awake during the surgery it needs a particular anaesthetist to be present.

So fingers crossed I get a date for the actual surgery soon then we can start a new countdown.
