I’ve been a bit worried about my new shoulder over the last few weeks as it has starting ‘clicking’ when I move it certain ways. It’s also sore when I wake up in the mornings although I’m fairly certain that I am not lying on my side during the night. I’m unsure as to whether or not I should carry on with the exercises and I’ve not been able to bring my physio appointment forward to get an opinion. So today I thought I would try the impossible and see if I could bring my appointment with the consultant forward instead, although I assumed that I didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell. To my utter amazement I was offered an appointment next week – three weeks earlier than my original date!
So until then I’m going to go easy on the exercises – I only hope that the implant hasn’t moved as I don’t really fancy another operation on the left arm at the moment. My right arm is giving me so much pain I would rather that the next op is on that arm instead.
On a positive note at least I am sleeping at night now – thanks to the morphine.
