The cannula and nerve block have been removed, x-ray and blood tests have been done, and I’ve got a lovely bruise on my ‘good’ arm.
Now I’m just waiting for discharge papers and return appointment then I can go home – then the really hard work starts.  Steve’s on his way and I’ve managed NOT to pack my bag although all my stuff is out of the locker and lying on the bed. I’ve also dressed myself (slowly)  apart from my shoes which are in the holdall which I’m unable to open with one hand. I will do a tidy of my blog tomorrow with another update. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to read it, with special thanks to those who have followed with words of encouragement over the last week and all the lovely medical staff who have looked after me over the last three days. 😉
