It doesn’t seem that long since I was saying Good Riddance 2015 and here we are again seeing off yet another year. (Click on the link for a reminder of last year’s post). However in some respects its been a very long year as I feel as though I’ve spent the whole year either preparing for or recovering from, shoulder surgery. At least can I start 2017 with two new shoulders, although whether or not that is the end of it remains to be seen as the left one still hurts more than the more recently replaced right one.
So this year I can raise a glass (with whichever hand I choose) to toast the New Year. I wish you all the very best of health and good luck and I will update again after my follow-up appointment in March.
Thank you all once again for your support, please feel free to contact me if you have any experience of your replacement surgery which you would like to include in this blog.
HAPPY NEW YEARÂ

Well I think you should put a glass of wine in each hand and practise drinking from them alternately! Well done and I hope that your health continues to improve for 2017.
Today I did my last set of physio exercises and now have good and painfree movement in both shoulders. I will only swim from now on. So I have put away all my physio equipment. Yippee!!

Well done you, I do like the idea of two glasses of wine, especially as I’ve had none all year x

Glad to hear about your improvement and celebration.I am booked for right shoulder replacement on January 20th.Please God it will take place as I am in so much pain and my arm keeps seizing up.I found your hints and tips very useful and treated myself to some very swish pyjamas! (I’m normally a nightie person).I will keep you posted.Keep up the good work! Val.
