Since my last post I’ve made no progress, in fact it feels like I’m going backwards. It doesn’t matter how much I try to ignore it – my left shoulder hurts. It’s one of the first things I notice in the morning when I wake up. I’ve stopped reaching up with my left arm now as it feels a bit ‘fragile’. To make matters worse I’ve developed a big lump on my elbow, which is probably totally unrelated but uncomfortable nonetheless. I have a physio appointment next week so I’ll mention it then, I’ll also see if it’s possible to get another scan done of my shoulder – even if only to prove I’m just being paranoid. Either way I need to know before I can even contemplate going through with the right replacement – although the movement is getting harder and more painful every day, how would I cope if my left one let me down when I needed it most?
